Your Super+ travel credits (the cashback you earn on Super.com hotel bookings) become redeemable once your stay is complete, and you can choose to apply them to your next travel booking with an active Super+ membership.
Whether you’re ready to put cashback toward your next trip or you’re trying to figure out why recent hotel rewards are still showing as pending, this guide covers what to expect. Here’s how Super+ travel credits work, how to check your balance, and how to apply them at checkout without any guesswork.
What Are Super+ Travel Credits?
Super+ Travel Credits are the travel-only rewards Super+ members earn from eligible Super.com hotel bookings. Right now, that means up to 10% cashback on eligible hotel stays.
Depending on how you use Super.com, those rewards work in one of two ways:
For Standard Super+ Members If you do not hold a Super.com card, your rewards work like a travel fund. You can redeem them as credits toward future Super.com hotel bookings. They are not cashed out to an external bank account.
For Super.com Cardholders If you are a Super.com cardholder, the same earned value can instead be redeemed as cashback to your card account. That gives you more flexibility in how you use the value you earned.
Understanding the Terminology You may see a few different names for the same reward. “Travel credits,” “Super+ credits,” and “hotel cashback” all refer to the same thing. These rewards are credited to your Super.com account after checkout, so you can build up savings over time without dealing with point conversions or confusing reward tiers.
Why Your Travel Credits Aren’t Showing Yet (Pending & Timing)
If your cashback is not available right after you book, that is normal. Travel cashback is credited after checkout, but it often shows as pending until your stay is completed and verified.
Pending credits cannot be used yet. They need to move from pending to available before they can be applied to a new booking. This step helps make sure everything is finalized correctly with the hotel.
For Super.com hotel bookings, cashback posts to your account on the later of:
- 30 days from the transaction date, OR
- The hotel check-out date listed on your booking
To make things easier, here is what each status means:
| Travel Credits Status You See | What It Means | What to Do / When to Expect It |
| Pending | You earned the credits, but your stay is not completed yet or the 30-day window has not passed. | Wait until your check-out date passes or until 30 days from booking, whichever is later. |
| Available | Your stay has been verified and the conditions have been met. | You can redeem the credits on your next eligible booking. |
| Used | You already applied these credits to a past reservation. | No action needed. |
| Forfeited | Your membership was fully cancelled, or the credits expired. | Keep your Super+ membership active to avoid losing eligible credits. |
Still seeing pending credits past the expected time frame? If your check-out date has passed and it has been more than 30 days since you booked, share your booking or transaction details with support so the team can review your account.
Why You Can’t Redeem Your Travel Credits (Eligibility, Limits & Expiration)
If you can see credits in your account but cannot apply them at checkout, there is usually a straightforward reason.
The Golden Rule: Keep Your Membership Active The most common reason travel credits cannot be redeemed is an inactive Super+ membership. You may still earn eligible travel cashback, but redemption is paused until your membership is active again.
If you cancel Super+ entirely, there is an important timing detail to know. If you have confirmed cancellation but are still within your paid billing cycle, you keep access to your travel cashback until that billing cycle ends. Once cancellation fully takes effect, any pending and active travel cashback is forfeited, your travel cashback balance returns to $0, and those credits are no longer redeemable.
If your account is past due, you will be blocked from earning new credits until your account returns to active status. However, you can still redeem already-earned credits during that time. For trial members, credits cannot become active until the first payment has been processed.
Expiration Dates Once your travel credits are granted and become available, they expire after 1 year from the date of issuance.
Pre-Redemption Checklist Before booking, make sure all of the following are true:
- Your Super+ membership is active and in good standing
- Your credits have moved from “pending” to “available”
- Your credits are still within the 12-month expiration window
- Your payment method on file is up to date
If all four boxes are checked, you should be set.
How to Redeem Your Travel Credits on a Super.com Booking (Step-by-Step)
If your credits are available, applying them is simple:
- Check Your Earn Tab: Log into Super.com and go to your Earn Tab to confirm how many available credits you have.

2. Find Your Stay: Choose the hotel you want and continue to the booking page.
3. Review Pricing Details: On the checkout page, look under the pricing details section for the option to view and apply your available credits.
4. Apply Your Savings: Select Promotions & Credits to apply credits
5. Complete Checkout: Your travel credits will be deducted from the total right away. Then you can pay the remaining balance and finish your booking.
Troubleshooting at Checkout If your credits are not applying, one of these may be the reason:
- Currency Mismatch: Make sure the currency you are searching in matches the currency of the credits in your account.
- Pay-on-Arrival Bookings: Credits cannot be used for pay-on-arrival or pay-at-the-hotel bookings. To use credits, choose a pay now booking.
